Street Art Trip from Term 1

Finally! The video of our trip to the city to look at the amazing street art happening around the buildings and empty lots. Not to mention, producing some of our own and looking at some really famous pieces at the museum.

Room 5's Field Trip Week

Footage from our visits to The Scape 7 Sculpture exhibition in the city of Christchurch and The Museum of Canterbury. Thank you to all the amazing parents who helped transport our class and were able to join us on our trips.

Room 5 Reads to the Pre-teens of Tomorrow

Today we were lucky enough to make it across the road to Kidsfirst Northcote to read to some 'youngins'. Some reluctant, some enthused, but all got to hear a book created by one of the Room 5 team. The students found it to be a really enjoyable experience and were disappointed to have to leave the painting, flower arranging, blocks and playdoh behind.

Surfing Day

Room 5 will be 'hanging ten' on Monday 18th with room six. Our exciting surfing trip will see the students have a go surfing for the first time.
We would love for parents to join us on a great way to start any week!
