Festival Choir
Stepping into the CBS Ariena with about 2 hours a head of us and only being able to drink water.
It was long so by the end of the practise I was quite tired.
Hours later traffic was a nightmare. You could not imagine it. It was a great idea to get out of your car and walk.
There was a lot of people there and it was kind of creepy having the screen right behind for more people to look at.
I really enjoyed it, it was a nice way to meet new people and get out of sports. (Don't tell anyone I said that...)

Festival Choir
Today Erica ,Desiree and I went to Christs College for a festival choir rehearsal. It was a rehearsal with the other schools in the festival which is happening on the 31st October( Halloween). We are singing a lot of old songs that we have never heard before mixed with some slightly newer more popular songs. We will be performing in the CBS arena next term. I am looking forward to this because it will be fun to sing lots of different songs with lots of different people. Only I don't want it to come too fast because we have a lot of work to do.

Performing Arts
At the moment in performing arts we are doing a dance to Teachers Pet from the movie School of Rock. To be honest, the dance is quite interesting and enjoyable. We have been working with Sandy since the start of term two and we are all loving the time we spend with her.
I can not wait till the performance.

Girls self defence
On Tuesday afternoon for the last 4 weeks some year 7 girls took a self defence course. We talked about a lot of things to do with self defence including what to do when your being followed and what to do when your attacked. We learnt how to kick properly and punch properly as well. Our teacher told us stories about brave girls stopping attackers.
We are now empowered to take over the world as strong independent girls of the 21st century.

Desiree's Slice
Today as part of the Casebrook Master chef Challenge Desiree brought into school some amazing Belgian slice. This also happens to be Mr Leith's favourite cake. He looked pretty chuffed. It tasted delectable and exotic with its spices and its sugary goodness.
Here is a photo of Desiree's slice:
