Room 5 Current Events Quiz Success!

A big congratulations to Alex R, Matt, and Harry who dominated the ODT Current events quiz to score 96 points out of 100 and place 3rd equal out of at least 70 teams.
Jacob, Georgia and Aaron scored 83 points to place in the top half of the competition. Well done everyone and thanks to all the parents who helped support us!

Awesome work from Harry, Michael,Emily  and Caitlin Mac on the floor and team reserve Sarah in the stands ensured our Casebrook year 8 Cantamath did a great job, coming in the top 25 out of over 90 teams.

Congratulations Emily!

A sprint finish saw Emily pip Claudia to take out the year 8 girls event in our school cross country on Friday afternoon.

Great room 5 results all round, with Harry and Matt our best boy finishes. 

Well done to Emily for coming 1st and Claudia for taking out 2nd place, in convincing fashion too!

ISS Presentations - Day 1

Room 5 have been working on paired inquiries over the last week.
ISS means - 'Inquiring about Space Stuff'.
Today was the first day of the student presentations showing what they've found. The goal is to share the information in an interesting way.

Relay Teams Success

Our class relay teams had excellent results in our school relay competition this week.

Our girls team were victorious and our boys team came a really close second.

Our Room 5 couches are in hot demand all throughout the day. 

Cursed Chest Writing

This morning in Room 5 we have been writing curse stories here is mine.

Once you break into the cellar you will be cursed with horrendous breath and unbreathable foot stench. All the products you buy all the showers you take you will not be fixed till you bathe in sewage.
