Hey guys! Erica here. Inspired by Cara's post, I also wanted to write something in remembrance of our class. You guys were all so amazing, and I'm glad I got stuck with you lot.

Mr Leith has been an awesome teacher. He taught me a lot of things, and showed me the importance of 'show, not tell' in my writing so I'll always be grateful for that. (Mr Leith, if you're reading this, thanks!)

Also, a few of us have agreed that we want to keep this blog running. (So don't shut it down, Mr Leith!) I know I'll be writing quite a few more posts myself. I look forward to hearing from anyone else who wants to post!

Hi guys!
This is Cara, and before anyone thinks I hacked the account to put a message on the blog I didn't, I just happened to remember the e-mail and password to the blog from steps to success.

Congratulations Tai-iba!

Tai-iba, winner of our school speech comp was the successful recipient of the overall prize in the Year 8 category of the Rotary speech competition, with her amazing speech on Child Slavery.
An amazing achievement to be proud of and Room 5 are over the moon for her success!

Isabella Gymnastics Success!

Isabella spent the holidays in Auckland, where she has been competing in Rhythmic Gymnastic Nationals.

She competed over two days,  earning a 2nd for her clubs routine, and 2nd overall. So she got 2 silver medals. Awesome achievements Isabella!

The moot was "Guns should be made legal for all ages to carry and every 13 year old should get on on their 13th birthday".
